PS

A quote I meant to include in the previous entry, or, more accurately, a paraphrase:

"You're very self-aware - but you already knew that."

Here's to meta-self-awareness.

Darn!

Well, you were saying it *about* me...

Not to mention, I post many more blog entries than you do.

And then there's the time I had a really cool philosophical conversation with a friend about what it means to be a true (blue) New Yorker. And then she had to go and get it published in a letter to the editor of the New York Times, taking my ideas almost word for word. And she still claims she came up with it all on her own.

Can't hold that against her though. Unlike me, she's actually gotten many many many letters to the editor published.

Would this be the same friend that can get me access to free books? I would think that would not be her style. Was she presenting both sides of the exchange?

Ummmmmm ..... I think so?? Don't you have more than one friend with access to free books?

There weren't two sides to present. The basic argument was that NooYawkuhs them ain't rude, them's just impayshint. As I said, to this day, she's convinced she came up with the idea. But I know I'm right just because I am. Really. Trust me.
