Beginnings

So I have finally succumbed and started a blog. Translation: I managed to decide on a user name.

My masters project is due tomorrow, but I got an extension on my extension. Still, it may be a little while before I post anything of substance.

I will, however, add one brief thought:

This evening, it was good to be reminded that sometimes, after making all sorts of complicated plans and changing them repeatedly, it doesn't really matter as much as I think it does. Sometimes, people can find moments of bliss in the simplest things. And those moments are really fun to watch.

I don't even want to think about how many extensions on extensions I had on my MA thesis.

I've probably put my first name on too many places connected with this journal already, so I won't do it again now -- but it should be quite enough of an identifier if I say yv'oii eleisyne, or I was. (I've forgotten how to do past tense in the Starlanguage. It's been far too long.)

Yes, yes. I know who you are - I recognized your ID once I had context - that is, there are only a limited number of people who might post on my blog.

But now everyone else is going to wonder what in the world the star language is. And you know you didn't fully translate: were you trying to say you are the poetess?

Anyway, I am curious how you discovered my blog, since I have no memory of ever mentioning it to you. My current theory: Alex told Leah who told you. But for all I know it's even more convoluted. Either that, or you've been stalking my username. :)

I hope the thesis is going well. I actually did not tell Andrea- quite the opposite- she told me. Alex hadn't mentioned it at all. Anywho, check mine out, and hopefully I'll talk to you one of these days.
