See what happens when too many of my friends get together? OK. Now, the question is, how many people get the reference? I suppose the back of such a t-shirt would need to read, "Schrodinger's cat landed buttered side down."

This gets added to a partial list previously posted by

mbarr that included:

- Schrodinger's cat is undead (I came up with that one)
- Schrodinger's cat is mostly dead (back: schrodinger's cat is slightly alive)

And two he did not have on the list:

- Schrodinger's cat is not dead yet
- Schrodinger's cat was turned into a newt (back: it got better)

And another one suggested this Shabbat:

- Schrodinger's cat is pining for the fjords

We should definitely start printing t-shirts... :)

They sink to the bottom of the tank.

My apartment mate's fish just died this evening = or, at least, we noticed he was dead this evening. My apartment mate handled it pretty well, considering her attachment to said fish. I somehow ended up breaking the news to her.

On a tangentially related note, another thing that sinks is a can of coca cola. Oddly, diet coke floats. I saw this demonstrated in the earth science class I observe, and I will be showing this to my own students tomorrow.
